The Utah Orchid Society is currently in the summer rest period. We do not have regular monthly meetings during the months of July & August.

This month, we have Eric Sauer of River Valley Orchids! Eric will be giving his presentation on “South American Species”. This presentation covers some of the Maxillarias and Phragmipediums of the area along with other interesting genus and species. Discussed will be some species you may already know, but Eric will also be covering species which are not well known but fairly readily available and can be grown by most!

This month we are excited to have Glen Decker of Piping Rock Orchids. Glen is an expert in Paphiopedilums & Phragmipediums and will be giving his presentation: "Paphiopedilums and Their Differences". This talk discusses the differences within each group of Paphs and includes lots of information on their culture.
